ICE Malta awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2008 certification

As part of ICE Malta’s constant commitment to provide a unique study experience at an excellent quality level, during these last semesters the ICE Malta team has been working towards achieving the prestigious ISO 9001:2008 quality assurance certification.

The management are pleased to confirm that the ICE Malta Study Experience is now an ISO 9001:2008 study experience, confirming not only the high quality standard of the institute but also the consistency of a study experience which includes a small classroom philosophy, use of the latest technology, educators are who industry practitioners and accredited to teach, participation in local and international  competitions, an online student area and of course the opportunity the achieve worldwide recognised certifications. ICE Malta is the only ICT institute in the Maltese islands which has successfully achieved this prestigious award. ‘ICE Malta students achieve the highest academic results because of ICE Malta’s uniquely designed study experience – a study experience which gives students the opportunity to truly enjoy learning in a distraction free learning environment, in classrooms designed for different study programmes, opening doors to an endless amount of opportunities amongst other unique features’  Mr James Abela, Director of ICE Malta explained

Mr. Sandro Spiteri, Director for Quality Assurance at the National Commission for Further and Higher Education visited ICE Malta for the official presentation. ‘The delivery of education and training incorporates the processes of design, development, verification, validation, delivery, subsequent correction and ongoing improvement. Therefore, when applying the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 to education and training activities, we found that it aligns exceptionally well with our school procedures. Special thanks to NCHFE and Mr Spiteri for joining us and for acknowledging the importance of an ISO certification dedicated to a study experience. We are committed to ensure that we continue to give local and international talent based in the Maltese islands the a new benchmark of quality in education’. Mr Abela concluded.
